A nice relaxing start today. The bridge at Stralsund only opens at 08.20 and 12.20. The former was definitely off the cards, so we had a relaxing start and left the marina at 1150, drifting slowly down towards the bridge arriving bang on the opening time. It might almost have been planned … From there we managed to sail for a while until the wind died completely just after 1pm so the engine came on and we enjoyed a relaxing motor round to Lauterbach arriving at 5pm.
The Rasender Roland railway line ends at Lauterbach Mole, so we set off to have a look at this, but a hasty diversion to a local bar became a much more appealing option when the heavens opened for an hour or so …..
